Darwal Joins Cleveland Medical Malpractice Team

Perez Morris announced Joseph J. Darwal has joined its Cleveland Medical Malpractice team. Joe focuses his practice on medical malpractice, healthcare professional liability, and long-term care liability, as well as general liability. His litigation experience helps him represent and guide his clients throughout each stage of the process. Joe prides himself on being able to provide his clients with fearless representation both inside and outside of the courtroom, protecting those who spend their lives helping others.

Joe graduated from University of Akron School of Law where he was president of the Trial Team Honor Society. During the course of his career, he won two Regional Championships, was a National Semi-Finalist, and ended as a National Champion. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Sanders J. Mestel Trial Advocacy Award by the University’s faculty. He still volunteers his time coaching the Trial Team Honor Society every semester.

Prior to joining Perez Morris, Joe provided representation to both defendants and plaintiffs alike. From defending multi-million-dollar complex transportation and trucking claims, to becoming a multi-million-dollar award winning plaintiff attorney, he has the ability to examine cases from both sides of the aisle. This unique background and insight allow him to defend his clients with both passion and experience.

Joe, who is admitted to practice in Ohio, is a member of both the Akron Bar Association and Cleveland Metro Bar Association. In addition to serving as a coach for Trial Team Honor Society, he serves as vice chair of the Kites for Kids Foundation Board of Directors.
