Two Medical Malpractice Attorneys Join the Philadelphia Office of Perez Morris

Perez Morris welcomed two medical malpractice attorneys to its Philadelphia office.

Heather K. D’Onofrio is a seasoned litigator with more than 20 years of experience in the defense of health care providers and medical professionals in matters involving alleged malpractice, catastrophic injuries, and significant financial exposure. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Heather represents both plaintiffs and defendants.

Heather earned her J.D. from the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, magna cum laude, and her B.A. from Commonwealth University-Bloombsburg.

Leah Layden joins Perez Morris as an associate in the firm’s Medical Malpractice & Healthcare Professional Liability Department. Leah works with the firm’s experienced litigators and trial attorneys to represent clients in matters including claims of catastrophic injury and wrongful death.

Leah, who is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Wisconsin, earned her J.D. from Marquette University School of Law and her B.A. from Bucknell University.

These additions follow last week’s announcement of Amalia Romanowicz as Partner in Charge of the Philadelphia office, further strengthening the firm’s presence in the region.

“I’m happy to welcome this team, which represent an exciting step in the continued growth of our medical malpractice group. Their expertise and proven track record will be great assets to our expanding Philadelphia office and healthcare clients,” said Jeanne Mullin, Partner in Charge – Cleveland and Chair of the firm’s Medical Malpractice & Healthcare Law Group.
