Adava Jefferson is an attorney at Perez Morris’ Columbus office, where she handles business litigation, premises liability, and national coordinating counsel matters. Before joining the firm, Adava interned at an insurance company, researching insurance law and providing analyses to claims handlers. She also worked at a private law firm, drafting civil litigation documents and researching liability and coverage issues.

Adava earned her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, Managing Editor for the Ohio State Technology Law Journal, and a Board Fellow at the Dublin Arts Council. She also participated in the Entrepreneurial Business Law Clinic, counseling a startup and a local nonprofit organization.

Adava lives in Columbus, Ohio, and enjoys caring for her plants, cycling, and spending time with friends and family.
