Kimberly Holmes

Lead Counsel, Privacy Compliance

Kimberly Holmes serves as Lead Counsel, Privacy Compliance for the firm. In that capacity, she draws upon over twenty years of insurance industry experience to work with clients in developing strategic compliance protocols to minimize both their legal and regulatory liability as well as the resulting business interruption that often occurs in the wake of a data privacy or security breach. She collaborates closely with the firm’s managing members for clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small and mid-size organizations across multiple industry verticals.

Prior to joining Perez Morris, Kim developed recognized industry expertise for cyber liability and management liability by serving in various legal, executive and management capacities for Chubb (Deputy Worldwide Underwriting Product Manager, Health Care and Senior Claims Officer; 1999-2013), One Beacon Professional (Vice President, Product Development; 2014-16), ID Experts (Senior Vice President & Counsel; 2016-18) and The Doctors Company (Vice President, Business Development; 2018-2020). Prior to her career in the insurance industry, she practiced employment law with the Hartford, CT office of Jackson Lewis after serving a one-year appointment as law clerk to the Hon. E. Eugene Spear of the Connecticut Appellate Court.

Kim speaks frequently at national insurance and privacy industry events and is regularly requested to participate in market and industry discussions evolving dialogue around the healthcare industry, management liability, cyber liability, risk mitigation, and the need for effective, ongoing communication between organizations and their multiple insurance industry partners.
