Lisa Baer is a partner in the Perez Morris Toledo office where she focuses her practice on medical malpractice, healthcare professional liability, and insurance defense. Lisa has effectively represented medical professionals across various specialties in mediation and at trial. She has also represented hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and nursing homes.

Lisa has shared her knowledge and expertise with professional groups on topics like liability, trial procedure, medical documentation pitfalls, and risk management and has instructed paralegal classes. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in advertising before pursuing her Juris Doctor at the University of Toledo College of Law. While there, she excelled as a member of the Moot Court Board and the National Appellate Advocacy Team. Her oral advocacy skills were recognized with an award during her first year on the Moot Court.

Lisa resides in Toledo with her husband, Peter. She loves playing tennis and has a strong passion for the arts. Lisa serves on the Executive Committee for SAME Café, Toledo and has served on the Steering Committee for Urban Sight, a non-profit dedicated to promoting public and community art projects.
