Perez Morris is pleased to congratulate partner Elizabeth Weeden for being named a Columbus Business First 2026 Women of Influence in the Community Champion category. Weeden joins 30 other women being honored for their impact on their organization and community, and their work to foster the next generation of leaders.
In the nomination, Perez Morris Managing Partner Sarah Perez highlighted Beth’s longtime service to LSS CHOICES, the only domestic violence shelter and crisis hotline in Franklin County. Beth has served on the Advisory Board since 2018, including serving as Chair of the Board from 2023 to 2026. This year, she was also appointed to the Board of Directors for the shelter’s parent organization, Lutheran Social Services (LSS) of Central Ohio. In addition to her board role, she has volunteered at the shelter, helped fundraise, and advocated for victims of domestic violence at the Ohio Statehouse.
“Her ability to help guide the organization through evolving community needs—particularly in the areas of domestic violence, homelessness, and affordable housing—reflects both her expertise and her deep, sustained commitment to this work,” Sarah wrote.
Sarah also highlighted Beth’s leadership in the legal industry and in her practice area of workers’ compensation, building a distinguished career representing clients across a wide range of industries and handling matters at every level including the Ohio Supreme Court.
