Katharine Koob is an attorney in our Philadelphia office who focuses her practice on Medical Malpractice & Healthcare Professional Liability.

An experienced litigator, Katharine is also certified as an arbitrator in the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia. She represents clients in professional liability and medical malpractice claims at trial, mediation, and arbitration in matters that involve catastrophic injuries and significant financial exposure. Her clients include hospitals and health systems, physicians, nurses, dentists, and other healthcare professionals.

Katharine was recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America in the area of Medical Malpractice in 2024 and was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star in Medical Malpractice in 2019 and 2020.

Katharine has served as a volunteer attorney for the Veterans Pro Bono Law Clinic, representing low-income and disabled veterans. She is also a Trustee of the Haddonfield Friends of the Library and a member of the Junior League of Philadelphia.
