Jason T. Whitehead II joined the Perez Morris Cleveland office in 2023, where he focuses his practice on workers’ compensation and employment litigation matters. Prior to joining Perez Morris, Jason was an Assistant Prosecutor for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office. He previously worked as an associate attorney at an Ohio workers’ compensation law firm.
Jason takes pride in his clear communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with his clients and colleagues. He understands that legal issues can be complex and overwhelming, and is committed to providing his clients with the guidance they need to navigate the legal process with confidence. He is most passionate about helping others craft strategies to assist them in increasing productivity and decreasing liability, while creating a safe and enjoyable work environment.
Jason obtained his law degree from DePaul University College of Law in 2019. During law school, Jason served as Treasurer for the Midwest Region of the National Black Law Student Association and as the Business Manager for the DePaul University Journal of Health Care Law. Jason also served as a legal extern for both the Seventh District Court of Appeals for the State of Ohio and the Department of Health & Human Services Office of General Counsel.
In his free time, Jason actively participates in community involvement efforts aimed at giving back to those in need. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his family and friends.
